Honoring Garrett Ronald Farr's legacy by investing in the next generation of mental health advocates.
The Garrett R. Farr Scholarship is in honor of Garrett Ronald Farr (Nov. 12, 1999 – Sept. 22, 2017), whose legacy inspires Project SAFE's mission.
These scholarships are for undergraduate and graduate students progressing their education for the improvements of mental health de-stigmatization and societal improvement.
The following page explains the application process. Keep in mind that the criteria is not primarily academics.
The Garrett R. Farr Scholarship, provided through the Project SAFE Committee, is to be awarded to a current high school graduating senior (Class of 2026) in the Cedar River Corridor Area.
There will be $3,000 set aside in scholarship money. Applications are due March 31, 2026. The money when awarded goes directly to the school towards tuition or books. Winners need to provide us your school ID number and address and phone number of the school, so payment can be made.
